The Future of Flexible Work Spaces

These Guys I Know has a strong interest in the future of work and workplaces - we have even led a “work from anywhere” tourism campaign, which is in line with our way of working.
We’ve never adopted a traditional workspace model. Like our business, our approach to workspaces is flexible. We pop up! We design around client needs and how teams choose to work. We’ve run hybrid models, remote teams, pop up spaces (particularly when we are in production mode and require production offices), worked from client environments and shared spaces with others.
As an office, These Guys I Know is more a concept than a place. Flexibility means agility and efficiency. Wherever we are, we enjoy a vibe and the power of connection, collaboration and diverse communities.
A number of our projects have explored shared space, modular design and mixed use - including the bringing of retail, residential and business closer together.
As the changing nature of how we work informs what is needed in a workspace - communities and even cities are being transformed. It seems the only certainty is change.
Last year, we were pleased to contribute our strategic thinking, design and content creation services to support B:HIVE at Smale Farm - a modern flexible workspace, architecturally designed and built for business.
Through our content we covered a number of topics including future of work, biophilic design, lighting design and impact on productivity, flexibility and dual needs within the modern workspace (for example concentration and collaboration spaces) and more.
All topics we will be exploring more in our newsletter - register here.
Services implemented - strategy, design, written content, photography, video, copy.
